Gummy Sharks are an original species made by me! (Species lore is optional)

- Their bodies are firmer than slime, with about the same give as a soft gummy candy, and they give off a vaguely fruity scent that varies between individuals. Their body fluids taste sweet and are mildly addictive, however their actual flesh is inedible and can cause vomiting and other varying reactions as a defense against predators.

- Their bodies are smooth and dry to the touch and about 90% opaque, however when their temperatures rise their surfaces start to melt slightly, causing them to become sticky, slippery and more transparent. The warmer they get, the wetter they get, but they will always retain a corporeal form and body heat alone will never cause them to melt enough to alter their original shape.

- They have no discernible internal organs. If any of their flesh is removed, it will regenerate after a few days. Their sense of pain is very mild, and they will usually only experience discomfort from flesh wounds. Extreme temperatures however can be very harmful to them.

- Their teeth (which are serrated and pointed) are the only parts of their bodies that are hard and sharp, however they can retract until only the tips reach past their gums. This protects their lips and tongues from being torn. Their teeth will typically slide back out if they stretch their jaws to yawn or eat or if they smile widely.

- The digestive acid in the core of their bodies is incredibly corrosive, and they can consume and dissolve virtually anything with no resulting waste or by products. Their diets and PH levels can affect the color of their bodies, but they otherwise experience no long term effects from what they eat.

- Each shark's tail shape is unique, and though their bodies can't change drastically, over time they can become shorter, taller, thicker or thinner as a result of varying elements. Their "hair" can also change length, volume and style, though it is unclear whether it changes based on the shark's will or on its own will. It can be shaped and molded manually if desired, its material being lighter and more pliable than the rest of the body.
