The backstory that I came up with when creating the design
(of course, you can reject it if you are not satisfied with it)

She used to be an ordinary human but an unknown mushroom invaded her body slowly turning her into a mushroom. Her body has undergone changes the flesh has partially
rotted, bones are visible in some places. She is not devoid of reason but it has changed a little because of what happened.
