The Rift-Raff gang were more of a nuisance than a real threat. Pick-pocketing (that they weren't very good at), small-time "extortion" and smuggling mildly dangerous contraband into Canterlot to sell at laughable prices. Fireworks, knives that were slightly longer than regulation, that kind of thing. The guard pony sighed as she rounded the corner, the abandoned storefront coming into sight. Rift-Raff's shenanigans were technically illegal, meaning SOMEpony had to deal with them regularly, but that somepony was usually whoever drew the short-straw at HQ. This was her third short straw this year.
She entered the storefront cautiously from a side-door. Not that she was worried; her shift dealing with with drunken academy students earlier this year had been more dangerous than the last two "busts" of the gang. But that was no reason to get sloppy. The abandoned storefront seemed...abandoned. She ran her eyes over the piles of rubble and junk a few times, then braced against the wall.
"CANTERLOT GUARD! DROP YOUR WEAPONS AND COME OUT SLOWLY! FAILURE TO COMPLY MAY RESULT IN THE USE OF FORCE!"
Nothing. Carefully, the guardmare gradually picked her way through the space, working from cover to cover, but after a few minutes it became clear there really was no one there. Maybe the info was bunk? Great, wonderful.
She made her way back to the entrance, only to freeze as it came into sight. A pony was standing in the door. Kinda scraggly looking.
"CANTERLOT GUARD! DROP YOUR WEAPONS AND-"
The pony, looking a little shaken, tapped his hoof gently on the floor. A glow burst from the floor underneath the guard pony, a magic circle flashing to life. A MAGIC CIRCLE. Oh Celestia, were they smuggling bargin-bin magic now too? When she got her hands on this-
A rush of magic surged through her, up her legs and spine to slam right into her skull. She felt her body give a slight jerk as her mind floated, suddenly ripped from the controls and struggling to grab back on. Her last in-control thought was that this was much more than a magic circle could do. Then the connection broke for good, and all she could do was watch, still in her body, but unable to move an inch, or even change her expression from the blank, wide-eyed stare it had shifted to.
The scraggly pony approached, a little nervous. "Sit."
She sat. Her body sat. He smiled at this, relaxing a little.
"Bow." She bowed. He extended a hoof in front of her muzzle. "Lick."
She reached forward, tongue obediently lapping at the hoof, blank, wide eyes staring into nothing. Her mind felt almost as blank. There was fear, excitement. Arousal. But it was hard to really THINK. Just experience. Watch, and feel, and experience.
The scraggly pony laughed. "Oh they're gonna love this. Alright, up." She rose to her feet. "Follow me. Got some old friends that are dyin' ta' see ya." And she did, out away from the shop, disappearing into the dim alleys and backstreets of the city.
