Out of Body, Out of Mind

The mare gave a frustrated sigh as she left the shop, stepping out on to the cobblestone road of the commercial district again. The move to this town had been mostly great: the new job had been a perfect fit, her apartment was cozy, and thanks to that accident at the coffee shop all those months ago, she now had a very cute coltfriend. But that was also the problem.

They were coming up on a month now, and she wanted to get him something, reel him in a little. Nothing fancy, it was only a month after all, but he was cute, and she didn't want to be boring. Unfortunately the shop she had just left was number four in her search, and she was still without a gift. Maybe she'd have to settle for something less-

She stopped suddenly, turning her head as she backed up a few steps to look at the shop she had just passed on her left. She was still new to the town, but she could have sworn she had seen a pet shop there, with a big glass window in front. Instead, what she saw now was an older brick structure, with steps leading down to an entrance below street level and a wooden sign in a language she didn't recognize. The picture was clear enough though: some kind of antique store. Huh. She smiled. Maybe this was just what she was looking for.

The door creaked slightly as it opened under her hoof, disturbing a fine layer of dust on the floor. No employees or shop owner greeted her, only a vast space, more than seemed possible, dimly lit and filled to the brim with shelves at every imaginable angle. And overflowing from those shelves, any number of strange, forgotten odds and ends. She smiled wider, stepping forward, deeper into the shelves.

*******

Several minutes later the mare stopped, craning her neck to try to take in her surroundings. Where WAS she exactly? The layout of this place, or lack thereof, was crazy! She had seen several promising gifts already, but would she even be able to find her way out once she decided on one? And where-

Her eyes caught something suddenly, glinting behind a corner. Stepping around the shelf, she saw a long wall covered in pictures and paintings, all hung in a strange chaos, like a flock of startled birds taking flight. But the glint wasn't coming from a painting. It was coming from a mirror.

Without knowing why, she stepped closer. The mirror was massive, taller than her with ornate wood framing that looked to weight a ton. No good as a gift at all.

She stepped closer.

She could see herself in the glass now, and as soon as she did two strange urges suddenly sprang up in her mind, equal and opposite. One, to slowly back away, as if from some kind of predator. The other, to reach out. Reach out and touch the glass.

She stood there, frozen a moment, suspended between the two instincts. And then, slowly, her hoof rose. Higher. Higher. Higher-

Until it met the glass with a soft click.

A wave of vertigo hit her suddenly, and she reeled back, trying to steady herself. When she looked up she gasped, almost losing her balance again. Her reflection hadn't moved. It was still looking blankly at her, hoof pressed to the glass. Something in her peripheral vision caught her eye, and she suddenly realized there was another problem.

She was no longer in the bookstore. Her reflection was, but all she could see around her was the mirror and a strange, glowing void. As a rush of panic started to well up in her, the mare saw her reflection move suddenly, slowly turning to the side to look at something she couldn't see. Nodding. Smiling. Nodding. She watched as her reflection turned again, its side to the mirror now, and lowered its head to the floor. Raised its flank. Spread its legs.

A stallion stepped into view, gold sparking from a strange necklace at his chest. He looked into the mirror, giving her a grin as he leaned over her reflection in a pose that was impossible to misunderstand. Something clicked in the mare's mind and she suddenly realized she wasn't watching her reflection. She was watching herself. Somehow, she was the reflection now, looking out on the shop from inside the mirror. The shop where the stallion's cock was pressing into her now, inch by inch, until his balls finally pressed tight against her.

In the mirror she stood frozen, unable to do anything but watch as he took her. Slowly, quickly. Roughly. Hips rocking into her, her body twitching in dull delight beneath him. Until at last he finished, giving one last thrust as a rush of spunk fell to the floor between them, slick and heavy. He looked up at her, at the mirror, and said something. The mare couldn't hear him, but the words were clear enough on his muzzle.

"Don't worry love. I'll take good care of you."

He reached up, tapping a hoof against the side of the mirror, and the mare stumbled back, giving an obscene groan as every sensation her body had felt started to ripple through her, thrust after thrust after thrust. She barely noticed as the stallion motioned to her body, or as it stood and turned, following the stallion. She looked up just in time to see it walking away, its sex still slick with arousal and spunk. Another climax hit and she collapsed, missing the last few moments before her body disappeared behind the shelves.
