Rumors about a hidden treasure were going out and about the town, located right next to a forest.

And while the edge of it seemed perfectly normal and safe, with a lot of locals going there for walks and picnics, nobody really got any deeper. And for a good reason - anyone who stepped into the dark of the deep forest never came back.

Still, some adventure seekers and treasure hunters were taking this forest for a challenge from time to time. Every single one of them lost so far. And now... Now it was your turn. All those freaks just couldn't make their way back because they were too stupid, you thought. How can it possibly be any other way, right?

Your bravading thoughts were interrupted by something shiny breaking into your eyesight. Something among the branches of the nearby tree. Was it the treasure rumors were telling about? Only one way to know.

You quickly approach the old enormous tree only to find a single pendant hanging off one of its lower branches. Not quite a usual pendant though, way too large to be worn and looking like decoration of some sort. You have never seen anything like that! Totally should bring it back, you think to yourself, uplifted.

You sit down to the ground as it hangs low to examine. And then, the second you touch it for the first time, it starts glowing. It has such a nice, pleasing glow.

You smile as you look at it.
The glow pleases you.
You keep looking...no, you stare at it.
Staring at the glow feels so good, so relaxing.
Suddenly, it flashes - and you find yourself fully naked.
It doesn't bother you at all. Because the glow is so lovely.
You keep staring, barely touching the source of that warm, inviting light, frozen in place.
It doesn't bother you.

All you see is this Glow.
You don't want to see anything else.
You don't want to think about anything else.
The world is gone. There is only you and The Glow.

Suddenly, steps could be heard the depths of the forest, quickly closing by. Despite your ear perking up at it reflexively, you remain still. Someone was coming. Coming for you. To claim their newest treasure...
